Talent bridge

Introductions, only when the author asks.

Guests on Meridian are some of the most capable researchers of their year. Some want to hear about roles or collaborations; most do not, at least not yet. The talent bridge, run with magellon, Magellan Global’s talent business, makes introductions only for authors who opt in.

How it works

  1. Opt in, separately

    After release, never before, a guest can choose to join. It is a separate agreement from the guest release, and declining changes nothing about the episode.

  2. The author sets the terms

    What they are open to (roles, collaborations, advisory work), where and when.

  3. magellon makes introductions

    To organisations that match. The organisation pays magellon; the author pays nothing.

  4. Disclosed

    The episode page notes that the guest has joined the talent bridge, if they choose to make that public.

Walls between the bridge and the show

  1. The talent bridge has no access to the selection process, and selection never considers whether an author might join it.
  2. Organisations using the bridge cannot sponsor an episode featuring a guest they are recruiting.
  3. Guest data stays with Meridian unless the guest opts in.
