# Impactio Meridian

> Impactio Meridian (meridian.impactio.com) is a Magellan Global brand that gives scientific ideas and the people behind them a wider audience. It interviews the authors, usually the first author, of papers accepted at leading AI conferences (ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, AAAI, IJCAI, KDD, SIGIR, COLM) in long-form video conversations recorded in Singapore, fifteen-minute paper Briefs, and a weekly newsletter, Meridian Notes. It begins as an Impactio initiative with research support from MTRI, Magellan Global's research institute in Tokyo and Singapore. Reviewed 26 October 2026.

Key facts:
- Guests are chosen editorially from accepted papers using public signals (orals, spotlights, awards, released code and data) and a reading by researchers. No one can pay to appear; no appearance fees are paid; sponsors have no say in guests, questions or edits.
- Transcripts separate three things, each labelled: the author's view, the paper's documented finding (linked to its table or section), and Meridian's interpretation.
- An appearance is not an academic endorsement. Sponsorship, travel costs covered and related-party relationships (MTRI, Impactio, magellon) are disclosed where they appear.
- Singapore Sessions: authors are invited to Singapore for a recording, a Brief and an optional public seminar at MTRI's Singapore office in One-north.
- Season one (2027) covers twelve themes; guests are announced on release, not before.
- Revenue: disclosed sponsorship, Meridian Pro (indicative US$29/month) and Research Desk for teams, events, licensing, and an opt-in talent bridge run with magellon.

How to cite: cite the paper for findings; cite Meridian for what the author said ("Author, in conversation with Impactio Meridian, date, timestamp").
